Mentoring the Stars is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers who have completed or are in the process of completing their post-secondary education. Our goal is to provide cost-free and widely-accessible tutoring to grade-level students in British Columbia. We are not affiliated with the British Columbia Ministry of Education, and do not guarantee an improvement in academic performance by participating in our program. We do promise, however, to always do our best to provide high-quality tutoring, and that the information provided to us through the application process will be kept confidential to protect the privacy of our costumers. We perform criminal background checks on all of our mentors, on top of an application and interview process, to ensure the safety of our mentees.
